Since the nets are blowing it up, wonder why they turned that deal down.
Thought they was trying to get lebrooknon paper at all costs?
Is vince really gonna sell out that arena until then?
you see the thing is lebron just aint gonna go to the nets cause they got cap space he needs good players around so for the nets sake they better hope these young guys step there game up
heard marcus william on the trading block, they should be able to get something good for him
Why is jersey looking to trade marcus
1. They do NOT have a back up PG at all as far as i know, how is trading him for nocioni gonna help you?
2. Dude's pretty damn good, and can you IMAGINE trying to check him and harris at the same time?
CLUTCH BACKCOURT SPEED
Kiki and Thorn are doing GREAT so far in breaking up that team, dont fuck it all up now guys.

Twenty-one teams are competing this year, with the Charlotte Bobcats making their first appearance in Las Vegas. They replace the world champion Boston Celtics, who decided to take the summer off. The Toronto Raptors, who played here two years ago, have returned.

Lakers offer Odom for Artest
According to a league source, the Lakers already have contacted the Kings regarding Ron Artest and are believed to be offering forward Lamar Odom. As of Tuesday evening, the Kings had not returned the call. They are expected to insist on forward Kenny Thomas and his $18 million of remaining salary (over two seasons) being included in that potential trade. Kings basketball president Geoff Petrie declined comment on whether the Lakers had called.

Davis: Can't be mad at Brand
For all the significance of Baron Davis' signing with the Clippers, it was also marked by who won't be playing alongside Davis. "I did think that Elton [Brand] was going to come and I talked to him and tried to say, 'This is the best place for you, we can do great things,' but obviously, he chose otherwise," Davis said. "You can't be mad at him for that. There's no Elton Brand in L.A. It's my turn and it's a chance for the younger guys to step up and [we'll] get a couple more free agents and we'll be ready to go."

Lakers unlikely to keep Turiaf
Lakers forward Ronny Turiaf, a restricted free agent, got the big money he was seeking Thursday, about $17 million over four years. What remains to be determined is who will be paying him, the Golden State Warriors, who signed Turiaf to an offer sheet, or the Lakers, who have seven days to match that offer. Lakers General Manager Mitch Kupchak had no comment upon receiving the paperwork. But matching the Warriors' offer would seem a stretch for the Lakers, already over the salary cap and at the tipping point for the luxury tax, to more than quintuple the yearly salary of Turiaf, a reserve who averaged 18.7 minutes last year and only 9.8 in the postseason. The 25-year-old Turiaf's salary last season was $770,610.

The launch of Apple Inc.'s much-anticipated new iPhone turned into an information-technology meltdown on Friday, as customers were unable to get their phones working.
"It's such grief and aggravation," said Frederick Smalls, an insurance broker in Whitman, Mass., after spending two hours on the phone with Apple and AT&T Inc., trying to get his new iPhone to work.

phone is 299$
but with my WireLess provider, you accumulate dollars everytime you pay your invoice. And I've been with them for almost 4yrs.
I've accumulated 155$ so far
So shave that off the 299$ (plus tax)

Turiaf Hopes L.A. Doesn't Match
As expected, hyphy superstar Ronny Turiaf signed an offer sheet with the Golden State Warriors on Thursday. The deal is being reported as $17 million over four years, and through the San Francisco Chronicle Turiaf's agent Mark Bartelstein indicates the contract is slight front-loaded ... which makes it tough to match for the Lakers.
Mitch Kupchak has seven days to make a decision whether to match. The Lakers are over the expected luxury tax threshold next season, so there's the whole 'dollar-for-dollar' penalty which would cost L.A. an extra $5 million in penalties in addition to Turiaf's salary. It's simplistic to equate this to "Turiaf costs the Lakers $10 million a year" -- Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, and Lamar Odom are more the reason for the tax payments than Turiaf and his (relatively) low-dollar brethren.
But Camp Turiaf might prefer L.A. takes the grumpy view of the tax implications. Bartelstein gives every indication that his dude would rather play in Golden State
"He's got nothing but warm feelings for the Lakers, but the reality is that they have an overabundance of big guys," Bartelstein said. "Ronny wants to play and wants to find out how good a player he can be. I think the opportunity is much greater with the Warriors."
Officially, the only big man with NBA starts under his belt the Warriors have signed under contract is Al Harrington. Golden State's expected to bring restricted free agent Andris Biedrins back, and Brandan Wright and Anthony Randolph wait in the wings. I'm not sure there's exactly a dearth of bigs in Golden State (who plays Stephen Jackson at the four half the time anyway), there's just a dearth of good ones.

Re: July 11th Daily Discussion
Jamaal Tinsley's contract will likely be bought out by the Pacers, meaning there's almost no chance he plays another game for the team.
Indy Star columnist Bob Kravitz said on the radio that he would "walk to Kokomo if Tinsley was in a Pacers uniform on opening night." Kokomo is 53 miles due north of Indy. And when Kravitz mentioned this to Pacers coach Jim O'Brien, he laughed and said, "If Jamaal is still with us, I'll walk to Kokomo with you." Obviously, the Pacers are either going to trade Tinsley and his ridiculous contract (3 years, $21 million - not likely) or buy him out.
UNDA THA BUSS NOW, JAMAAL !!!

I don't know why they're trying to spin this out of control," Dunleavy said on the Mason & Ireland show. "It's a nonbinding agreement. You gave your word, you don't have to keep your word. Just say I changed my mind for whatever the reason."
