Spurs rebound to sign Roger Mason
The morning after Corey Maggette climbed out of the NBA free-agent pool, the Spurs waded back in Wednesday. They came out with Roger Mason Jr. According to multiple NBA sources, the Spurs have reached an agreement with Mason, a 6-foot-5 guard who spent the past two seasons in Washington. The deal is expected to pay Mason $7.5 million over two seasons. Mason doesn't come with the sex appeal -- or the scoring average -- of Maggette. He is, however, coming off his best season as a pro. -- San Antonio Express-News

In addition to cocaine, Arkansas police allegedly found possible marijuana residue on a jar when they arrested Matt Jones on Thursday.

The bulk of the cocaine was in a plastic baggy. Two others in the vehicle were hit with misdemeanor drug charges, while Jones faces a felony. Police claim Jones admitted to possessing cocaine and say they had to pull their guns on the 6'6/238-pound receiver after he initially did not show his hands.

I don't have a cell phone, but I've often thought that if I got one, I'd get the Sidekick....don't know why though.

it is the one video game system that compliments my lifestyle perfectly. I can take it with me whereever I want, deliver noodles for 15 minutes, then turn it off. I can surf the web, listen to music, and watch movies.

And most importantly, it's not a phone, so I don't have to worry about people trying to get ahold of me with it. (although I could put Skype on it)
